Adam Cliff

Has been Peterborough City Council’s Empty Homes Officer for five years, having gained a BA (Hons) in Property Development and Architectural Design. Since 2011 Adam has overseen the return to use of 800 empty properties, including some that had previously lay empty for over 20 years. Having implemented new and innovative ways of encouraging owners to make the most of their assets, Adam has received local and national recognition, being named Empty Homes Practitioner of the Year for 2014 at the national empty homes conference, following on from his highly commended award for 2013. Adam is also a member of the Empty Homes Network Committee, a national body which aims to lobby and encourage central government to take the proactive approach to empty homes work.

Karen Kibblewhite - Chair

Is Head of Commissioning for Health & Wellbeing at a county council and has over 20 years of experience working with vulnerable groups. She started her career working as a Psychology Researcher in HMP Dartmoor working with sex offenders, and has since worked in a variety of fields including domestic abuse, offending, substance misuse, and community safety across local authority, prisons, and voluntary sector settings. Karen previously sat on the board of a homelessness charity.

Janette Powell

Has been working with vulnerable adults for over 20 years. Starting in a large unitary authority she became a member of the CIH. She subsequently ran a Home Office pilot in a busy resettlement prison for 5 years before joining the MOJ as regional lead in the DoM office. Her current post is with Social Finance. She led the Social Impact Bond in Peterborough which was a social investment pilot to measure the impact of innovative interventions on short sentenced male prison leavers.

Terry Lucking

Has been in the Private Rental Sector since 1999. With offices in Cambridge and Peterborough he manages over 1200 properties with 21 trained and qualified staff. Terry supports regulation of Letting Agencies. Licensed member of ARLA. Pioneered Belvoir’s move into residential sales in 2013. Terry speaks monthly at Investment Seminars. Chairs the Peterborough National Landlord Association (NLA) branch (voluntary role). Introduced NLA accreditation for landlords in Peterborough Feb 2013. Member of the Peterborough Housing Partnership Board established 2014.

Danny Sullivan

Has 10 years experience in building materials distribution covering various sales and management positions. 9 years spent working for Ridgeon’s Ltd, one of the country’s largest family owned builders merchant, Positions held included external sales and sales office manager. Currently working for Saint Gobain Jewson with operational responsibility for a two acre site located in Hampton. Peterborough. Danny is married with two children.
